Be Social and Engage! – This is the most important tip so far. It is called SOCIAL media for a reason… so be social! Like posts, leave comments, participate in conversations. Make a point to do this and you will see it come back around. The more you engage with others, the more they will engage with you. Posts that have a lot of engagement show up more in the feeds of your followers. Most importantly it is the best way to build good relationships. Think of it like real life, the more you talk to someone the better you get to know them and the more you get know them the better you can meet their needs.

Social media isn’t entirely free – While almost always free to the user the same doesn’t apply to those trying to use social platforms to market products and services. If done right running ads and promoting posts can be an incredibly effective way to reach customers. The cool thing about running ads on Facebook is the insights they provide you to the behavior of your customers. The ability to measure and adjust makes it easier to determine who you should spend money targeting.

Publish posts ahead of time – By using a scheduler like Later (https://later.com/) or Hootsuite (https://hootsuite.com/) you can schedule posts for the week, this helps lighten your workload while maintaining consistency. Not having to take the time out of your day to post on multiple networks will allow you more time to engage with your customers.
